A Night to Remember
The Cincinnati Chapter of The Links, Incorporated looks forward to welcoming the Greater Cincinnati community to celebrate their 60 years of service during “A Night To Remember”, an elegant cocktail attire soiree. Join the Cincinnati Chapter as they celebrate on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for Jazz Cocktails at 6:30 p.m. Guests will walk the ‘green carpet’ at 7:30 p.m. to a delectable dinner buffet followed by dancing non-stop to Soul Pocket, Cincinnati Magazine’s 2010 Best of the City Band. Tickets are $100 per person. Stephanie Wright Byrd and Grace McCaster Daniels are the event chair and co-chair, respectively.
Proceeds from the Soiree benefit the programs and services of the Cincinnati Chapter including the annual Girls Conference, national award winning Youth Docent Program at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and Step to Health and Wellness Walk.

A Night to Remember Souvenir Journal
The Cincinnati Chapter of Links, Inc. proudly celebrates 60 years of being linked in friendship and connected in service to the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio community. We respectfully invite you to celebrate and commemorate this milestone with us by placing an ad in our 60th Diamond Anniversary Souvenir Program Journal. The souvenir journal will be distributed to more than 400 guests at our 60th Anniversary Diamond Soiree "A Night to Remember" on March 26, 2011.

Proceeds from the souvenir journal will help fund current Cincinnati Chapter programs, with particular focus on youth programs. A premier program is the Annual Girls Conference which serves approximately 100 fourth- through sixth-grade girls from nine area schools. The aim of this highly sought after program is improving each girl’s health and wellness, academic achievement, financial literacy and self-esteem.

Step-to-Health 2007 Girls Walk-a-thon included presentations from:
- Alumna Link Marian Spencer and Link Nita Walker, MD
- Senator Eric Kearney was the Grand Marshall and walked with the girls
- Activities included: Yoga, Stretching, 1.5 mile walk, Zumba, Double-Dutch, Kickball, Freeze tag, and Relay races

Donation to the Village Life Outreach Project

- Trio's Restaurant - Kenwood Cincinnati, Ohio
- International Trends Facet of The Cincinnati Chapter of The Links, Inc. donated $500 to the Village Life Outreach program led by Dr. Christopher Lewis. Money will help support the feeding program in the Roche village (Tanzania, East Africa). Medications that could be used for the children in Africa including children's Ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamins, etc. were also donated.

3rd Annual Girls' Conference
- 4/17/10
- 10am-2pm
- Community Action Agency - Jordan's Crossing (Cincinnati, OH)
- Free event for over 100 inner city girls, grades 5-7
- Workshops included: healthy snack choices, understanding financial wants vs. needs, and Zumba © (Latin based exercise program). The girls were served a healthy breakfast and lunch donated by McDonalds and Subway. They also enjoyed the lunchtime entertainment by The Princesses (a ballet company for inner city girls). Each girl received a t-shirt, visor and gift bag.
